What is The Distributors Advantage?
The Distributors Advantage is a loyalty program specifically designed to reward our customers with special benefits and privileges not offered by any other wholesaler. It is open to The Distributors non-national and non-corporate customers and is free to join.
Advantage program members earn Points for purchasing product from participating manufacturers (Advantage Partners) and can redeem the Points earned for a vast array of rewards including, electronics, home wares, travel, event tickets, gift cards, experiences and much, much more.
How do I become a Member of The Distributors Advantage?
There are a number of ways to join.
- Register online. You will be required to select your The Distributors Warehouse and to provide your Distributors Account number along with your Business Name, your name, email and business postcode
- Via your The Distributors Sales Rep. You can have your local The Distributors Sales Rep assist you to sign up online.
After completing your registration you will receive a Welcome email which will confirm your login details and provide you with a temporary password. Your password will need resetting when you log in for the first time.
You must have a valid email address to join The Distributors Advantage.
How do I login to my Advantage Rewards Account?
Simply go to www.thedistributorsadvantage.com.au and enter your email or account number or membership number plus password and click the login button.
Can't remember your password? Hit the forgotten button and enter your email address and a temporary password will be emailed to you. If you still have problems call us on 1300 653 726
How do I earn Advantage Points?
Once you are a member of the program, you can earn Advantage Points for the purchase of Advantage Partner products directly from The Distributors.
Continue to order products from The Distributors in exactly the same way as you do now and earn one (1) Advantage Point per dollar of net purchases (ex GST) of eligible Program Partner products. You may also receive from time to time Bonus Points for the purchase of promotional products or undertaking promotional activities.
Points will be automatically credited to your Advantage Account by the 9th of each month for purchases made for the previous calendar month. Points may however appear sooner.
What can I redeem my Advantage Points for?
Get Rewarded... The Distributors Advantage has an extensive range of merchandise, gift cards, travel, events and experiences from Australia's leading brands including Apple, Breville, Delonghi, Fisher Price, Homedics, Philips, Samsung, Sheridan, Panasonic, Stanley, Sony and many others.
You can redeem your Advantage Points for your choice of over 2,000 rewards.
Search by Points Available, Product Category or Keyword.
How can I find out how many Advantage Points I have?
You can view your point balance 24/7 on The Distributors Advantage website - My Account.
Watch your inbox for your monthly Rewards Statement - we will keep you up-to-date with your rewards balance, program news and the latest rewards options via email.
Where do I find the Reward items?
Visit the Redeem Points page. You can search the site for rewards using Points Available, Product Category or Keyword.
We will also include new and exciting rewards option on your monthly email statement.
How do I Redeem a Reward?
There are 2 ways to redeem
- Visit the Redeem Points page. Click on the reward option that you want and follow the prompts.
You will be asked to confirm your selection and your reward delivery address. You will receive a confirmation email with your order number in case you need to contact us.
- Call The Distributors Advantage Rewards Centre on 1-300 653 726. The team can redeem any item for you and will supply an order number for your redemption at the end of the process.
How long will it take to receive my Reward?
We will endeavour to deliver rewards as soon as possible, however, please allow 28 days for delivery of all redeemed rewards.
The Reward I ordered has not arrived, what do I do?
Call us on 1-300 653 726 or contact us via email . The friendly staff at The Distributors Advantage Rewards Centre will be delighted to help.
Don't forget, your Reward could take up to 28 days from the time your redeemed to arrive.
Can I get my Reward delivered to anyone?
Yes, you can. Your Reward can be delivered to any address you specify, except a PO Box. You can nominate the address required when you redeem online or via The Distributors Advantage team on 1-300 653 726. Any change to address made via this method is used for that redemption only and does not change your records at The Distributors or for future redemptions.
Will all items be delivered together?
To guarantee you receive your rewards as fast as possible, we will ship items as soon as we are able to fulfil your order. This means that if you redeem multiple rewards at one time from different manufacturers, these might be shipped separately.
Can I return my Reward if I change my mind?
Once ordered, rewards cannot be changed, cancelled or exchanged to obtain a re-credit of Advantage Points. Products can only be returned to The Distributors Advantage if they are faulty upon receipt, and Advantage Points will only be re-credited on receipt of the faulty Product.
What if the Reward develops a fault during the warranty period?
When your reward is delivered you should complete and submit all warranty paperwork provided by the manufacturer and retain all paperwork supplied with the product as this will assist you with any warrant matters should they arise. Should your reward develop a fault, you should contact the manufacturer directly and follow their instructions regarding repairs.
What is Points Plus Pay?
Points Plus Pay makes it really easy to receive your rewards sooner by giving you the flexibility to use your Advantage Points for part of your Reward and pay the balance on your credit card. A minimum points amount applies. Contact us for more details.
What is a Wishlist and how do I set one up?
Really want the big screen TV or that I-Pad - add it to your wishlist and we will help you track your progress towards redeeming your reward. You can add almost any reward option to your wishlist. Simply click on 'Add to Wishlist' on the reward that you want and we will look after the rest. All items remain on your Wishlist until you redeem or remove them.
How do I use my Advantage Points for Travel?
Contact us for information about travel within Australia and overseas, including flights, accommodation, packages, cruises, car hire, transfers, tours and more. Whether you want to purchase a flight or create your own holiday, we can help arrange all your travel needs and best of all you can use your reward points to pay for all or part of your booking.
With a multitude of airline, accommodation, tour, cruise and car hire options, using your reward points has never afforded you more choice, value or flexibility.
How long does the program last?
This program is designed to be ongoing, however, we require the support of our customers and major manufacturers (Advantage Partners) to ensure its success. The Distributors at its absolute discretion reserve the right to amend or conclude the program at any time.
Do my Advantage Points expire?
Advantage Points expire 24 months from the date Points are credited to your Account; or if your account has been continuously inactive for 6 or more months; or is closed for any other reason. The Distributors is not obligated to contact you before points are expired.
What if I don't buy any Advantage Partner products one month?
You will only be awarded Advantage Points for Advantage Partners products purchased from The Distributors. If you do not order Advantage Partner products one month then you will not be awarded any Advantage Points that month.
What if I have more than one Outlet/ Trading Account?
If you have more than one Outlet and therefore more than one The Distributors Trading Account, you can link the accounts to pool your points and achieve a single log-in for the website. To arrange for your account to be linked, contact us at - don't forget to specify which accounts you want to link.
What happens to my points if I sell my Outlet?
Points cannot be transferred. Upon notification of the sale, your Rewards Account will be closed and all points will be forfeited.
What happens to my points if I close my Business?
Upon notification of the closure, your Rewards Account will be closed and all points will be forfeited.
How do I update my contact details?
You can update your details via the 'My Account' area of The Distributors Advantage website. Click on My Account in the header navigation bar. Alternatively, email or phone The Distributors Advantage Team on 1300 653 726
I have forgotten my Password - how can I access my Account?
No worries! Click on the Forgotten Password link on the Login Page and we will send you a temporary password via email.
When you have successfully logged in using the temporary password you will be prompted to nominate a new password for future visits.
I think I am registered for Advantage – how can I check?
Try and login. Enter your email or account number or membership number and password and press login. If you can’t remember your password, Click on the Forgotten Password link on the Login Page and we will send you a temporary password via email.

I registered for Advantage, but I have not received a welcome email
It may take up to 2 weeks for your account to be set up as we may need to verify your details with your Local The Distributors warehouse.
How do I know what products I earn Advantage Points on?
You can earn points on purchases of Advantage Partner Products from your local The Distributors. Advantage Partners can be found on www.thedistributorsadvantage.com.au
To find out the list of products manufactured by the Advantage Partners, go to http://the-distributors.com.au/products and look for the Advantage Star against products. The Advantage Star shows product that earn Advantage Reward Points.
